简介
NeuroTraq, Inc. (NTQ) is an early stage Corporation developing innovative biological information technologies.  Advanced electrocardiogram (ECG) bio-signal processing is the focus of NeuroTraq’s recent technology development program. The ECG is used extensively to promptly diagnose critical cardiac conditions in Emergency Room Chest Pain Centers (CPCs) where over 5.5 million patients are treated for cardiac symptoms. Unfortunately, conventional EKG interpretation results in the CPCs are non-diagnostic in 50% of suspected cardiac cases. The inconclusive diagnoses result in hundreds of thousands of patients who do not get proper treatment and several hundred thousand unnecessary hospitalizations for people without serious conditions – leading to serious implications for patient survival, increased hospital costs, and ballooning malpractice lawsuits.  Twenty percent of all malpractice claims against emergency physicians are related to improper cardiac condition diagnosis and treatment.  NeuroTraq will use modern ECG technology to significantly, and cost effectively, improve electrocardiogram diagnosis of cardiac symptoms in CPC patients by providing more detailed, better structured, and relevant ECG supplementary data, through a technology platform called CardioTraq, to facilitate more accurate diagnoses by clinicians.  The CardioTraq platform is based on technology licensed from the University of Utah and used with NTQ innovations to provide a new category of advanced electrocardiographic services.   The CardioTraq platform is also applicable to other markets and will be developed in a three stage commercialization approach that adapts CardioTraq to specific requirements for new targeted markets and selected end users.
